Chouchou-P learned to play the piano at a very young age. After entering high school, he began to play guitar, and started his music career then.

He debuted as Vocaloid producer on June 20, 2008. His work "Love Atomic Transfer" released on December 14, 2009 was a huge hit. On March 22, 2010, his most famous song "E? Aa, sou" was released and became so popular it would go down in Vocaloid history (2,300,000 views as of November, 2014). After that, he continuously released many other popular songs. His first solo major album "Glorious World / ChochoP feat. Hatsune Miku" was released on November 2, 2011, and ranked 9th place on the Oricon Weekly chart. On August 7, 2013, he released his 2nd album "Fictional World / ChochoP feat. Hatsune Miku" and reached 19 on the Oricon Weekly chart. Following his 3rd album "End of the World / ChochoP feat. Hatsune Miku" release on November 19, 2014, Chouchou-P began to provide songs to other artists. He is skilled at making songs that tell special stories using Piano Pop & Piano Rock, music where the main melody is the piano.

His 4th album "Life & Lovers" was released on September 2, 2015. To celebrate the release of his new album, Chouchou-P held a concert at Tokyo Daikanyama UNIT on October 3rd. He invited other artists that assisted in the production of the album. The concert was a big success.
